I'm going back to San Francisco in the summer, and with Virgin again.

I went with Virgin last year for the first time and it was fantastic.
It's the only time I wanted to keep flying:D

I've flown with BA and they are grumpy[n]

The v:port was the star of the show. absoloutley fantastic
I'm sorry if this has already been discussed but I would like to know if all the Virgin fleet are going to become V:port or not.?
I hope that all planes going to San Francisco will have v:port because I've heard the other systems are lousy( no offence virgin)
:D

No not all the aircraft VS has will have V:Port,on VS19/20 you have about an 90% shot at getting a V:Port equipped aircraft.

Well it's good to have you here, try using the search feature of the site.Just type in V:Port and see what comes up,you'll see that the cost of replacing another aircrafts IFE with V:Port is pretty expensive.

Also if you look here and look for VS 19/20 you'll be able to see what the current stats on the flights are.

Those are the routes that Virgin flys,if you scroll down you will see VS019 London Heathrow to San Francsico, just go to that and press go.A new screen will open up showing the route, the aircraft 747-400 (LHR Suite) and lastly the entertainment system that has been on board.

Hi virgin crazy, and welcome to the site [y]

Just one thing to bear in mind (and assist you in getting the answers you need) is that writing in "text talk" as you have done in this thread makes it difficult for users to easily read - and therefore respond.

In terms of your question, Virgin don't seem to be replacing either Odyssey (which is OK) or SuperNova (which is quite poor) any time soon. All new planes, however (of which there are now quite a few ordered), will be fitted with V:Port.

Dave,

I think virgin crazy was referring to the coutdown tickers on your (rather long ;)) signature. These are a member benefit - along with many others. You might want to check this page out for more information... :)

Yes, each member can post their plans on their signature.

You can also use the Itinerary Calendar to see if anyone else is going to be on your flight.

You might also get a lot of answers from the FAQ Section. ;)

Well there is more than one answer to that question but i'll try and cover it.

Yes some of on here buisness people lucky enough to have an employer that pays for them to fly.

Some of us just do it for fun, some to get to a place for a holiday.

What you have to understand is that are a lot of people on here, this isn't a small website by any streach, last month 183k people logged into the site, thats almost 6k per day, sure compared to google thats nothing, but or a website that is devoted to one issue it isn't to bad.

Myself,I fly for two reasons,to get somewhere for a holiday or for pleasure.
