The rule is quite explicit on this score. Obviously if you arrive later VS do their best to accomodate you. However three hours are indeed the rule. Some risk it arriving later, and some of them miss their flights. So of course are lucky.
As this is quite similar to your posting regarding twilight checkin, I don't think there is benefit to running the two threads in paralel. Lets carry on discussion their unless you strongly object (PM me if you do)
