IMHO the leisure config was not a good choice by VS. But 1/2A should be fine. There is a bulkhead between The Booth and 1A. And people may not even use it. When I last flew that aircraft nobody used it. I’ll be on it again in about 2 weeks.

The big downside of UC on that config is that Premium will disembark before Upper like they did on the old 747s. Other than that, the seats are the same as the normal config.

One problem with 1a is that there might be some crew stuff / safety briefing stuff in the overhead bin.

There’s still plenty space further up though.

Even with people in the “loft” area, you won’t be bothered but the only toilet in that small cabin is in front of the right hand side row 1K so unless your comfortable walking through the galley, you need to go the long way found.

IMHO that little loft thing is a total waste of space and should have been another toilet.

The small bonus with 1a is a bit of extra leg room and you do sometimes disembark from the front door into Orlando so a little bonus there.

Hello. Thanks in advance for your suggestions and advice.
First time flying on the leisure configuration.

At the moment I have 1A, 1K and 4K available.

Mco - Lhr flight.

Which would you suggest as I’m a light sleeper.
1A concerned by the loft
1k conceded by the toilet
4A concerned by potential little one in PE.

Thank you

I’d opt for row 1 on a night flight. Loft is unlikely to be used after dinner service I’d say.

Row 1 also has a much bigger footwell with extra cushioning on one side (well certainly on the other 44 x J seat A350 config; I would guess this config is the same?) which makes a big difference on night flights when in bed mode.

Again on the 44 x J config A350 there’s also a wardrobe inbetween row 1 and the washroom(s). Looking at Aerolopa seat maps, this A350 config looks the same on the K side.

I always try for row 1 on night flights when flying on an A350.
