If you could ask Virgin Atlantic's CEO Steve Ridgway a question, face to face, what would it be??

Ooooh, a 1,000,001 possibilities here but I am sure that certain old chestnuts like this might come up......
Why is the UC pack now so crappy? [:(!]
V Port on LGW/MAN operated flights? [:w]
Will the A380 ever arrive? [?]
The seeming decline in service levels? [V]
Will you get rid of the beancounters - PLEASE? !!! [y]
Would you consider listening to what people say on V-FLYER?? [i]
And so on and so on.....

There's a plane at JFK, to fly you back from far away
all those dark and frantic transatlantic miles

Well, if it had to be just the one I guess it would have to be V PORT ex LGW/MAN one - even though I think I know what the answer would be [:(]
The others were ones that I think might come up in this topic. But then I always have been one for asking questions [:w]
I think JimmyMc's question was one question, with several parts.
My question - Why has Virgin stopped being an innovator leading the industry with innovation and service?
If I could have a second question: What does it say about the airline that it would appear that the majority of its premium cabin passengers would prefer to travel on a J2000 seat with the service levels of several years ago then the UCS with current service levels for a day flight.

Oh boy....
Let's see....Ok Mr Ridgeway,so can you tell me what happened while you were crossing the atlantic on Virgin challenger that made SRB think that you were the person to run his airline.
When VS first started flying in '84 and through the rest of the 80's and most of the 90's VS was known for it's service,IFE,better J product, especially when compared to BA,now with BA revamping it's IFE and J cabin why have YOU let VS get to the point where it will be playing catch up?

I've not spoken to Steve that much so hardly fair to pass comment, however I have spoken to the COO quite a bit (Lyell Strambi), and some of his direct reports and I find them very open to genuine customer feedback. Feedback is always followed up, and they demonstrate a desire to make things happen.
Thanks,
Richard
Thanks,
Richard
My question would be...
"How often do you get out into the field on a regular basis and meet your customers and staff?"
Cheers,
Mike

Interesting comment about they looked for customer feedback before changing the amenity kits. Was anybody on this site consulted?
More than likely not, as they pay another company ex amount of millions to stand around high street corners getting feedback from people who couldn't give a flying about the airline, when they could get a hell of a lot from V Flyer.

That is a very good question though ... VS say they consulted customers, there are a good few here including several v frequent flyers ... was anyone consulted directly or indirectly (like though in flight questionaires)? If not, who are these mythical customers?
