I accompanied parents to the abortion that was known as 'Twilight Check-in' last Sept.

The ticket desk was unmanned at the time and the 'staff' were quick to inform that my parents would have to return in the morning if they wanted to proceed with the revenue upgrade, though someone did arrive later on to deal with tickets for the PHC service.

They may have optimised the service after the conversation I had with senior management about the Twilight service and the experience I/my parents encountered.

Thanks,
Richard

Well not the greatest business flow is it turning away custoemrs that want to do a revenue upgrade or use miles to upgrades. ;)

Thanks,
Richard

Excellent news! [^] It's a pity you had so much hassle but at least you'll be able to start celebrating your wedding from the moment you set foot on the plane and have your first glass of champagne.

Hope that's the only glitch to your wedding plans. Have a great day and don't forget the TR

Oh no you don't! I suggest you concentrate you whole attention on your new wife during the flight rather than trying to remember (or worse still write down) the details of your journey.

Exactly!

BTW, when you get home do try to remember, when doing the washing up, to break one of the crystal wine glasses Aunty Agnes bought you as a wedding present. You will not be asked to wash up again for the next 50 (or more) years of happy marriage.

Thanks for all the tips :)

Its actually the misses that makes the notes as we keep a record of everything we do on holidays so we can look back on them in the future, also trying to do a website with pictures/diary of previous hols, time permitting!

I must be getting it tuf at the mo then. Been together 6 years, living together 2 and we still spilt all the chors. I wash, she dries, she washes, I iron, she shops, I eat :D

Sorry, I'm a bit late on this but for info :

When we recently upgraded at the last minute to UC and I mentioned to the operator we were going to use Twilight ( as we had booked the hotel already ) she said we would have to be at the ticket desk by 12.30pm the day before our flight in order to pick up the upgraded tickets, as the ticket desk would shut at this time.

It was a shame that once we had arrived early, they then cancelled twilight check-in on that day[:p][B)]

PS hope your flight is great Andy
