that exchange rate

So here's the latest the rate at http://www.thomasexchangeglobal.co.uk/ went up to 2.06 but for cash only for TCs the best they could do was 2.02, in the end I got Thomas Cook on St James' to do TCs at 2.03. The local Thomas Cook wouldn't push past 2.01.

Now I'm in the US I've also been using my VS Amex and getting over 2.04 not much over but over none the less, best non cash rate and miles too!

Sorry for repeat post (in the traveltech forum) but I have just got 2.0651 on my cc in New York.

Pretty damn good

I've been getting 2.05/2.06 using my Post Office credit card to book hotels. They do find it odd that I want to pay straight away rather than when I checkout!
