I called up Virgin Wines a few weeks ago to chase my miles, but it wasn't quite a month since I ordered so I was asked to wait. Called up again today and was told that they're aware of a problem in crediting miles automatically, so they're having to be done manually. Apparently they should appear at some point, although they couldn't give me a time frame. Have anybody else's appeared lately?
Cheers,
Ben

I had some from April credited about 2 weeks ago after faxing a Claim Missing Miles form twice to FC.
However on the same claim form was a more recent order I had from using the auction/name your price.
I've checked the T&C's on Virgin Wines for these promotions and miles aren't mentioned but I'm suspicious these orders will not be earning miles.[:?]
Has anyone else got miles from buying through the auction/name your price?

OK, who's the lurker??
In the last 15 minutes my 3000 miles have been added....
[y]
And today they've vanished [:(!][:(!][:(!][:(!]
Flying Club don't have a record of them ever hitting. And then asked for me to post (you guessed, via special delivery) a copy of the receipt. I refused, so they're investigating and will call me back...
Mine disappeared too. Spoke to FC, and EXTREMELY worring is that they see no record of them ever going on. (ie: Not a credit/debit, NO record).
So my question to the guys at FC: What's to stop that happening for other partner activity without me knowing ? [:0]
Anyway, then spoke with VW who say their 'IT team know about it - it IS an issue, and is taking them quite a while to sort out'...

Just read this thread about the 3000 miles. Can anyone tell me what the minimum spend on wine is to qualify for the introductory miles? Looking at the T&Cs provides no info. Thanks.

I think you need to buy their intrductory case to get the 3000 miles.
Sorry - can't find a link...
Arghhhh, just got off the phone with Virgin Wines and it looks like my 3k miles will finally be credited. When the miles didn't turn up after one week, I called up as the website tells you to, and was told that really you should wait a month before chasing the miles.
After a month I called back and was told that there was an IT problem, and that the miles would be credited when the problem was fixed, but that they couldn't tell me when that would be.
Today, four months after the order, I chased again and was told three months was the limit for VS retrospective miles addition and there was nothing they could do. I was also told that it was my fault because I hadn't followed the proper link when ordering, which is utter crap. After being quite restrained and only raising my voice a little, she went off to speak to her supervisor, apologised because somebody had told her the limit is three months when it's actually six, and said I'd been added to their spreadsheet. Spreadsheet! No wonder nothing works over there.

I had much the same discussion!!! They insisted that I hadn't followed the link but as described exactly how i'd ordered....I am now also 'added to the spreadsheet'. No idea as to when the spreadsheet will be passed to Virgin Atlantic for credit though.
Getting close to packing this in (and told them so)

Just called them again to chase up; funny old thing, she ouldn't find any record of my previous discussion and 'the spreadsheet' didn't contain my details! Resubmitted and waiting with baited breath (although actively looking for another wine supplier now).

We'll see how the next order progresses....
Good for you - I've still not got mine and have asked Flying Club to contact VWines to add to my ignored missives. FC were happy to do this and said that they give miles partners 30 days to respond [:0].
