In relation to the size of the UC cabin on the LGW fleet, I recall the old set up when more often than not the aft UC cabin was used as an overflow for PE. No doubt this influenced VS when they changed over the config, but as with all commercial decisions sometimes it is difficult to predict customer reaction to a new product.
I strongly suspect that if VS could have their time again they would have kept the size of the UC cabin as was.
