Depends on when it can be got in to a hanger to refit. I doubt it will miss another slot unless absolutely necessary. It's easier to cancel one flight (merge 2 JFK's) and get the refit done rather than keep maintaining a one-of-a-kind cabin.

The inside of that plane is a shambles. I hope they at least clean it before it gets turned around and maybe put some proper staff kit in.

One of the stewardesses had a tricky time with the knackered trolley it was like a bad day at ASDA.

As for the creaking I guess I've been spoilt with the 600!

Still no word from Virgin Atlantic on the aftermath of this incident. Potential expenses and compensation are looking pretty extensive for passengers. At present there is talk of the airline hiding behind EU legislation as the damaged aircraft was the fault of the ACSA.
Any lads or lasses on the inside know of any movement on this front?

To add to CPT woes, I noticed that EK had their own problems too a couple of days ago with a bird strike
