So basically remove all the price tags and lose the receipts?

Stupid C+E again - and we make them more powerful than the police.

On a separate note - if you are heading to the US, and are palnnign to visit Macy's or Bloomingdales - go to the visitors centre and show them your UK driving licence. They will hand you an International Visitors discoutn card - Macy's one is good for 12 months and takes another 11% off the price (even if its in the sale!). If you then walk back with receipts for a purchase over $50 they willg ive youa free gift - I have a nice Macy's rucksack and a set of Bloomingdales keyrings :)

Thanks,
Richard

Thanks for the great tip. I will try this at the Macy's in San Francisco in a couple of weeks time. I think there is also a new Bloomingdale's there too - can someone confirm this?

Edit: Looks like it isn't going to be ready for a little while yet! http://abclocal.go.com/kgo/news/111303ap_nw_bloomingdales.html

Yup, that building beside the SF shopping centre where Bloomingdales is going to be located has been deicict for a long time - it actually used to be Macys Home Furnishings.

I'm happy to order and ship Bose phones to anyone here who requests same. Send requests to [email protected] and I'll get back with you to arrange details of payment and shipping.

I'll have the opportunity to test the phones with UCS on VS7/8 early May and I'll include phones comments in trip report.

Regards,
Chuck-

Decker,
I'm sure the Macy's Card is OK in the Mall stores as we picked up a card at the Macy's in the Mall at Millenia in Orlando.
Saved a bundle on that trip!!

Thanks for all the advice everyone. I'm now the proud owner of a set of Bose QC2. As I'm impatient, I got my aunt in Canada to buy them for me & then ship them over so I can use them on my next outbound trip instead of buying them whilst away.

On the back page of this weeks Radio Times (19th May-4th June) the page is given up to an advert for the BOSE QC2's with a free cd player and the option to pay in 4 payments`without any charge by BOSE (They want payment by Credit card, so not exactly interest free unless you pay your card off each time)
They referens http://www.bose.co.uk/3763
No price quoted of course...:)

Yes the Premium Outlets place is great, but dangerous - you can spend so much money in there....

Typical rip-off UK, Bose 321 system is $800 there - £850 in the UK [:(!]

Damn the voltage...

Thanks,
Richard

Las Vegas Premium Outlets was pretty new, I heard, when I visited it last summer. Only problem, which applies to anywhere in Vegas, is it's an "outside" mall so can be a little uncomfortable to walk around for too long. Not all of it was open when i went, but there were some good names there, more upscale than the Belz mall.

I noticed a street near it had been named "Las Vegas Premium Outlets Boulevard" - only in America... :)

Vegas Outlets were out of stock of QC2's when we were there in March but the price for them, had they had stock, was full US retail!

Bose outlet in Bicester Village is now selling new QC2's for GBP252 showing a small saving on full retail.
