A question from a UC virgin (pardon the pun), due to fly in May.
How much of the food is already 'put together'? For example, looking at the new menu (thank you Lifebuoy), is the main meal of steak, fries, creamed cabbage, carrots and garlic pesto butter supplied by the caterer as a plated meal or would it be possible to have just the steak and fries? (I'm a meat and potatoes gal!)
I'm assuming the sandwiches will all be pre-made, as I can't imagine the crew in the galley with a loaf of Mothers Pride! Shame though, afternoon tea sounds so good except for the fact I'm such a plain eater and don't do chutney, mustard or pickle! But I'm sure I can make up for it with scones, cream and cakes, if I really, really have to ...
Marbled chocolate pound cake doesn't ring any bells as a traditionally American breakfast food. But hey, it's cake, an acceptable food any time of day or night.
Sorry, I've been distracted by the menus! Any responses to my actual question would be much appreciated.

I've read this forum and used the search feature as well. The forum seems to indicate a member posted a link or copy of the new UC Menu but I can't seem to find it.
Can anyone please help?
