I arrived in Sunny Swansea a few hours ago off the VS034. Whilst the food was very good (TR to follow when I get away from the bar at the Farmers Arms) the Wine was bloody awful. I didnt sample the reds (I did ask for a glass of the Tantalus Shiraz/Cabernet Savignon blend but got a glass of a different white which I assume was the Berry Bros blend) and I can attest that all three whites are poor.
The Chardonay is just about palatable however the Spanish white (name escapes me right now) has got, to quote Monty Python, a bouquet like an Aborigines Armpit and is, IMHO, undrinkable........and I made a valient effort.
