A rather strange addiction I suppose! Seriously, I never used to take snaps on board because I felt that only newbie flyers take snaps on planes, and some pax may find it imposing.
The guy that runs the website is a friend of mine, and I suppose it was his idea that started this crazy stuff off.
If you're only taking a pic of your meal tray, it's hardly a big deal. Plus, I never use flash - it's all done with a minimum of fuss.
My GF finds it all rather embarrasing and has banned me from taking snaps when she's travelling with me, so my wings have been severely clipped.
On the really strange side, for the highlight of longhaul trips is almost always the journey - I genuinely look forward to the flight more than I do the destination: some quality time to relax with no interruptions. And having a picture provides a lasting memory of my weirdness.
Anyway, must go, there's some men in white coats waiting to take me away.
