My PA completed the ESTA form for me, and made an error with the passport expiry date [n], submitted the form, and duly got the authorisation.

But now of course, the ESTA system won't let me amend the registration to correct the error because when I enter my passport number as part of the amendment process it says it can't accept it 'because an application with that passport number has already been made and authorised [:?]

So, how DO I go about correcting this error when the system doesn't appear to want to let me do it? No pressure, I'm only taking Mrs. VizBiz to San Diego via LAX on Feb 12![:0]

Help!

I booked a flight to the US over the weekend and tried to get into the ESTA site without success. Each time I try I get an error message [:#] I wish now I had filled it in ages ago but didn't as I had no plans made at that stage to travel to the US

Just reapply. I made a mistake with my husband's name([:I]) and just reapplied. Others have done the same for various mistakes. It does say to do that on the top of the form or somewhere, but it took me ages in my panic mode to find that.

Hmm just tried re-applying and got the same 'can't process the application as there is already an application with the same passport number'. This is getting worrying.

Came in to LAX from LHR yesterday on Air New Zealand. Green I94Ws still have to be completed at the moment.

The FSM on the flight told me that ANZ crews into the US are getting daily briefings about whether the paperwork still needs to be completed or the paper-free system is operational.
