Has anyone used the Long Stay at T" before? We booked last year for Premier Car Park but got bumped to Short Stay as they had overbooked, and SS was great right in front of the terminal.

This year we thought we'd use Long Stay as it's closer and I like parking the car myself.

Is it secure enough and are the spaces a decent size (don't want to land to dents in the doors LOL).

Thanks

Depends where the car park is keithmdw.

ISTR a long stay car park within 3 or 4 (literally) minutes walk time from T2. Stand with the Short Stay car park behind you and take a right to the roundabout. Go left, then right, then left again and you are at the long stay car park I remember. Only thing is I can't recall the name of it[:#] It was self park and, as I say, your can walk to T2 very quickly. Our approach was for the present Mrs Treelo to go into departures with the luggage and I would park the car, then walk back. Saved time struggling on and off the bus with luggage.

The spaces were perfectly adequate and there were always plenty to go round.

Hope this helps:)

When I used to work in Manchester I parked my car there. Its tied in with the staff parking area - although seperate, they both use the same gates. You're right, it is very near T2 and there is a bus thatll come every 10-15mins during the peak hours to pick you up; if you have bags-o-many. If you walk it, you'll have to walk through 'area 7' parking which is another staff parking area. Best get the bus.

T2 long stay is very well lit up and i used to see the police cars patroling at night very often. I, and my ex-collegues parked our cars there for over five years and no problems, no dents, no danger!
