Hi, We've booked our flights to MCO and have selected the following seats
LGW-MCO 7A&7K.
MCO-LGW, only 10A&10K showing available.
We're happy with the outbound seats, but prefer to sit away from the bar and closer to each other on the return trip.
I'm sure this flight is not soldout as we purchased 'Z' fares, does anybody know when VS will release more seats to pre-book?.
Will we have to wait until OLCI?
Thanks in advance,
Tim.

I think you will have to wait for OLCI (assuming it works) or check in case others decide to move.

As far as I know, on LGW B747's the only seats blocked by VS are rows 11 & 12, as these are situated close to the bar.
My guess is that if other seats are not available then they may already have been booked. The best way to check is on the VS website, on the "manage your flights" section. On the seat map you will be able to see if the other seats are indeed taken.

prehaps vh clients have bagged em already, my MAN-MCO flight I got 6a/k
but it appears VH still have other Z fares available for that flight whereas they normally only get 2.

At rough count, it seems 1/4 of the plane is now showing as available for my flight tomorrow (!) to Vegas, vs exactly 3 seats yesterday. So I'd hazard a guess at midnight the day before..

We have booked 6A and &K on our outbound but only 10A and K are showing as available to choose from on the inbound, I called Virging help desk and they said that 40% of the seats are unavailable until OLCI or CI.
In UC they hold off the back 4 suites by the bar.

I believe that they hold seats by the bar on all aircraft because in the past these seats had more complaints, therfore getting people to request seats available "away" this is the idea at least I think...
OLCI starts 24 hrs before the departure so get in there early... but to be honest there are only two bars stools and in my experience I rarely see anyone on these during night flights from MCO
