check in times
Posted: 25 Apr 2004, 21:28I am flying to mco this july and was trying to find out what time i need to be at lgw. As someone told me its noe 5 hours before take off

Check in opens 4 hour prior to departure ( about 630am to 7am at LGW) .VS recommends 3 hours prior to dep ( min 2 hours otherwise your seat assignments may be lost)
Ah the 5 hour checkin. I saw an article in the Sunday Times. I think this is currently scaremongering and a press thought as to what may happen if the US authorities want more pax info prior to dep. As far as I know it has not taken effect yet.
There is also twilight checkin at LGW the night before ( up to 9pm I think)
PS What class are you travelling in? If in UC then you can probably afford to check in later.
