Thinking about applying for the V C C (points) to see if I can boost my totals up, I've already got the Miles card but I can't find anything one the Virgin site concerning T&C's when it comes to converting points to miles, can anyone point me in the right direction please.

Cheers
Trevor

Hi Trevor

Do you have the Virgin Card that earns you Flying Club miles? (is this the 1 or 2 mile earning card per £1 spent?)

If you are referring to getting a non miles earning card to transfer the members points to Flying Club miles, i cant really see what benefit this would give you Ð I donÕt even know if you can do this as there are two versions of the miles earning card that directly input the miles in your FC account each month. Is this happening with your current card? (just checking that you definitely have the miles earning card as opposed to the standard one Ð otherwise I think I have I missed something?) I cant see what benefit you would have by getting a non miles card to be honest?

If you have a non flying club card that gives you points instead of miles - You can convert your points into miles at a ratio of 1 to 1. The members Shop will be able to help you out with this.

You cannot however, convert your existing card into a flying club card - You have to re-apply for a new card, chosing either a 1 mile per £1 spent, or 2 mile per £1 spent. The 2 mile per £1 has a £80 annual fee.

Hope this helps.....

Yup, I've got both.

Ironically, using the members shop route - it's no different to the standard miles earning card. 1 per £1 spent. ;)

Hi Sarah,

Just noticed you are off to DXB on same day as I leave for PVG.... Might see you at LHR, I have no CH access though and leaving 6 hours B4 you so chances are pretty slim, less your staking out the CH for the day..... [n]

Hi Rob

Excellent stuff - i'll be in the CH from about 6pm, along with Mitchja and IForres1 so a small V-Flyer contingent will be present. Im sure you wont miss us!

PM me closer to the time with your mobile number, i'll happily take a fellow V-Flyer member into the CH as a guest.

Hi Sarah,

PVG leaves at 14.30 so I am going to be long gone unfortunately, the offer is appreciated though. Hopefully I should be able to make the next V-F bash, would be good to meet everyone.....[y]
