Ok people some help/advise is needed here.

Am off to MCO over the May Bank Holiday weekend- the first one- for the wedding of some american friends. Due to work committments I really dont want to miss too much of the Thursday (27th). Now I have a small number of miles but would like to not use them. Prices to MCO are very expensive for this weekend. Im looking at going 27th-30th.

Now can anyone suggest a way of leaving theUK late afternoon and getting to MCO the same day. And possibly for a cheaper price than LGW-MCO. Hvae looked at VS to NYC then hopping down on CO or B6- but B6 seem very very expensive!!! Any suggestions. Currently found VS to MCO at £298. Though if i come back on the 1st is much more expensive.

Hope this makes sense- cheers guys!

27th to 30th May for £298 with VS? [?]

Cheapest I could find using ITA for those dates (with availability) was £432 with Delta (indirect) or £455 with VS via EWR. VS direct on 27th wasn't available...?

You could try Jet Blue from Kennedy for the internal flight, but that depends on availability of good value VS fares to JFK.

Was £298 too expensive for you? I think this is an amazing price but as we have seen it is not available. One think you can try in TPA with BA :-( as this is missed as a route to MCO. Current price for the dates you wanted was £470. More expensive that your £298 but cheaper than other options you have been given. Still doesn't help with your timings. If time is your greatest 'driver' then you will have to look at one of the late flight probably to NYC and then connect from there but I am sure price will be your enemy on that one
