What would you say were the best seats in PE for VS19 and VS20 LHR-SFO and return. Never had the opportunity to go PE before, so this will be a new experience [y]

Hi Trev,

SFO is currently a 744 route. Their are a few rows of P.E upstairs, try and get yourself pre-allocated with a seat up there. It's quiet, the aisle is much wider, you have lockers at the side of your seats, and a personnal service from the cabin crew stationed up there.

If you are planning on getting to check-in early, row 70 are the ultimate seats to have in P.E with all the leg room you can ever require....[y]

Trevor - the SFO route is among the more popular here and you'll find lots of trip reports if you search for them.

Re. seats, navigate to the home page, then resources, then seat ratings and you'll get lots of views - and you'll see people much prefer upstairs! You'll see that 70 a-k are highly recommended but bear in mind you can't pre book these as they're exit rows so to be certain of getting the arrive very early, be able bodied and hope (and ensure you have another row upstairs reserved in case).
