Just a question.
Have any of you met anyone "famous" in the Virgin Clubhouses?
The closest I ever got was Brenda dean leader of SOGAT at the time, in BA clubhouse at Brussels

Nope, not met anyone famous while flying VS, in the clubhouse or not - closest I've been was that apparently Nigel Mansell was the same VS27 as me in March

Cheers

Would not say "met" but on one occasion Mrs Buns & I witnessed a member of SRBs family in the LGW Clubhouse at the same time as us.
I have to say we did not feel left out / any difference on the level of service front - but then you wouldn't expect anything less of a Clubhouse would you?

Bill Oddie was on my plane back from SFO (VS20?) last October. Noticed him at the baggage claim, bird-watcher's hat and all!

Saw Tom Stoppard on a flight to NYC about three years ago. I think he had a play opening.
Oh, and Nicholas Witchell on Air Lingus back from Dublin yesterday.

Matt or Luke Goss(the one whos in films now) was in LHR clubhouse when we travelled to JFK earlier this month. Not a bad trip for celeb spotting Peter Schmeichel was in the Raddisson Edwardian the night before and we also passed Elaine Stritch walking down Park Avenue.

Nearest I have come is sharing a 343 with Sean Bean (of course there were about 40 rows of seats between us!)

Morrissey in the LHR clubhouse, quiff looked immaculate, but for some reason he couldn't decide between bacon or sausage for breakfast. Just had toast in the end I seem to remember.
Oh, and David Putnam just after September 11th, on a (very empty) LHR - JFK.

It would be quite interesting if someone bumped into, say, Rod Eddington from BA. Surely the top boffins at other airlines must be keen to see what all the fuss is about when it comes to UCS!!!
I surpose they will send their spies to report back to them though as they could not be seen to be flying on the competition - maybe they might like it too much!!!!:D

I used to fly up to Newcastle every week and this is my excuse for being in the BA 'lounge' there. Once, I was in there on my own and Frank Bruno and Henry Cooper walked in and it was a riot. Frank is very funny.
Sat behind Lulu on the way back from Newcastle as well.
When I flew back from Istanbul in Oct, I sat next to Alan Brazil and the guy he works with on Talk radio?
But alas I have not seen anybody famous in the Clubhouses....yet
cheers

Hayden Christensen (aka Anakin Skywalker) was opposite me on my flight to LAX last week.
Sat in front of Rachel Hunter last Oct. You should have seen the smug look on the guy sat next to her [:p]
And then there was Jacko from Brush Strokes last Feb on the VS 45... Poor chap was cornered by some other pax at the bar!

Mrs Buns has reminded me of other "meets" in the LGW Clubhouse:
Mel C (just after being at the Brixton Academy until the early hours)
Adam Woodyatt (Ian Beale - Eastenders)
Craig Doyle (on way to to a piece for Holiday in Las Vegas)
Finally, (whilst not in a Clubhouse) Gabby Roslyn on way to LAX
