The 10% online discount has appeared a few times over the last month or so. IMHO it does de-value FVC somewhat - yes OK the 10% FVC discount covers everything but even so it still doesn't feel like I'm getting much value from FVC now.

VH have had a big Revenue push recently, I have noticed they have used the 10%er quite a lot recently aswell!!

Time for a review of FVC benefits????

Why not encourage FVC's to spend more by offering an additional discount off flight upgrades or something similar?? The upgrades are cheap anyway, but hey the 10% FVC carrot isn't looking as sweet as it did 12 months or so ago, it definitely been devalued lately.....;)

Its easy to get 10% regardless of the promo, just join FC and they will give you 10% off holiday price when you book direct with VH.

Obviously not the full 10% discoutn off everythign like FVC though.

Thanks,
Richard

So you CANNOT combine this discount with either the FVC of VS discounts then?

That's such a swizz....where's our incentive gone now? First the increase in points for flights and now this.....

On top of that - and I digress slightly, I was flicking through some holiday brochures this morning (seems to be relaxing for me, don't ask) and I noticed that one company is offering fly drive trips that have slightly different combinations from the usual run of the mill. Now - generally speaking, I tend to book all my own stuff anyway - and then often find - the following year - that the tour companies are offering what I've cobbled together )who's getting inside my brain??). Sorry, my point is that surely it's time Virgin Holidays started to offer something a little different for the US?

No,don't see it happening either

I wouldnt take it as such a slap in the face. Surely it makes sense for VH to want to increase it's customer base? I might even book one with them now! lol
