How flexible is a D class fare?

I mean if I wanted to change/move dates around on a D class fare, how much would this cost?
Plus, what about if I wanted to cancel. Is there a fixed cost to cancel or does it vary?

Thanks in advance!

If it's a "normal" APEX D Fare - DAP1 (28 day advance purchase) then it can only be changed if you upgrade to a full J2R (which is almost double) + £100 fee.

Cancellations are also non-refundable. It does entirely depend on the route (and country of purchase) but these are pretty much the standard.

If it's a last minute (7 day advance purchase), it'll be a DAP7. Rules are as below:

PENALTY
ORIGINATING UNITED KINGDOM - CHANGES ANY TIME CHANGES NOT PERMITTED. WAIVED FOR UPGRADE TO HIGHER FARE. NOTE - MAY UPGRADE ENTIRE JOURNEY TO ANY HIGHER VS FARE. UPGRADING PERMITTED AT ANY TIME SUBJECT TO CONDITIONS OF NEW FARE. THE NON-REFUNDABLE PORTION OF THE TICKET MAY BE USED AS CREDIT TOWARDS PAYMENT OF FURTHER TRAVEL ON ANY VS SERVICE. IN THE EVENT OF AN UPGRADE - THE PASSENGER WILL BE CHARGED THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE 2 FARES AND AN ADDITIONAL GBP100.00 PENALTY WILL NOT APPLY TO INFANTS NOT OCCUPYING A SEAT. IN CASE OF SUBSEQUENT CANCELLATION THE ORIGINAL NON REFUNDABLE AMMOUNT WILL REMAIN NON-REFUNDABLE. CANCELLATIONS BEFORE DEPARTURE CHARGE 20 PERCENT FOR CANCEL/NO-SHOW/REFUND. CHILD/INFANT DISCOUNTS APPLY. AFTER DEPARTURE CANCELLATIONS PERMITTED. NOTE - AFTER DEPARTURE- PASSENGERS MUST PAY THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN DAP7 FARE AND THE FARE FOR THE JOURNEY TRAVELLED. --- CHILD/INFANTS DISCOUNT APPLY. ORIGINATING THE UNITED STATES - CHANGES BEFORE DEPARTURE CHANGES NOT PERMITTED. AFTER DEPARTURE CHARGE USD 400.00. CANCELLATIONS BEFORE DEPARTURE CHARGE USD 400.00. AFTER DEPARTURE TICKET IS NON-REFUNDABLE

So does that mean the only difference between Z and D is the Limo, as thats what it sounds like. Gotta say, expensive limo ride.

Yup. Well, between a Z and a DAP1, anyway. To give you an idea of costs, SFO return:

ZLAP = £2219 (non-ref, non-change, no limo, 42 day ad.purch)
DAP1 = £3059 (non-ref, non-change, limo, 28 day ad.purch)
DAP7 = £5063 (cancel before dep for 20%, non-change, limo, 7 day ad.purch)
JX2R = £6236 (ref, changeable, limo, mid-week)
JW2R = £6436 (ref, changeable, limo, weekend)

Thanks for the quick reply. I didn't realise it was such a restricted fare! That has certainly made me think!
