Flying from London to St Lucia and have prebooked a seat at back of plane. Anyone know which end they start serving meals from?

Not totally sure, but from what I've heard they start from the front and the back at the same time and then work to the middle.
Cheers,

Hi meagain,
Did you mean to post anything in addition to the original quote there?

main services on LGW B744 generally are 4 point service therfore cabin crew at the front will start at front working until they meet the crew working from the back of the cabin meeting around middle rows. This

BTW Milehigh - Welcome to the site and thanks for the information you are posting. It is much appreciated. Was there anything important coming after the "This"? You have us on tenderhooks! This....... (Is likely to change, results in romance between the crew when they meet in the middle, could be anything really![:0])

This..... well actually I think I was going to say that Your best option of getting your choice is at the front or back... but of course with 3 choices there is usually something you can eat
Sorry theres nothing more interesting... certainly no Jane austin story about romance in the cabin

Is there always a chicken and/or vegetarian choice? We don't eat beef or fish and would prefer chicken so don't want to book a veggie meal in case there is a chicken choice, but will take the veggie option if necessary.
Shame about the lack of romance..... especially on Valentines Day!
Any idea how long into the flight they start serving meals?

Always a Vegetarian choice but ratios for this are much less, than the meat or fish
eg : Beef 40% Fish 35% Veg 25%
if you are at the back shouldnt be a problem, Check with the crew when you board they will do the best to help im sure, no point ordering meals if there may be a Chicken option

No matter where I sit and what direction the food is served from, I always seem to be sitting in the row where they just run out and need to restock the trolley or refill the tea pot![:0]
