When I just spoke to Virgin, a woman answered the phone and announced herself as (and I didn't think I misheard this) Richard Mannion.
Discuss![:o)]

Goodness only knows - I was so surprised, I didn't ask her ner name again (something I tend to do at the end of a phone call).

Ah - no worries about your hearing Claire...
Several people in VS get "Mannion" and "Marrion" confused... [:I]

True - but not so easy to get confused over a first name such as Richard - and that's what she said!
How confusing - does he know his ID has been hijacked???[:0]

Hmm - maybe it was one of those "half conversations" you finish before picking up the phone...?
ie:
"And as for that Richard Mannion... umm, hello - how can I help?"
[:p]

LOL - maybe, it didn't sound that way, but who knows????

She wouldn't answer the phone to the front line! Strange, don't want to reveal names - can I ask which number you called?
Thanks,
Richard

Behave! The entire Premier Team has seen that we are in fact two separate people the last time I visited with Pete!
I could put an entire new thread on what responses I have heard when I have called in and been asked for my name.... word travels fast (maybe they put it in new hire training, if any of these people call in....) [:I]
Thanks,
Richard

Richard,I could so run with that one,but seeing as im in a good mood and now have two whole days off ahead of me,i'll let that one slide.
Now just out of interest, why would a rep even think of answering a phone like that?

It was the 08705 747747 number - I was asking about clubhouse access and the guy I was talking to put me through.
