Twilight and Bag Drop

Hi

I am considering a twilight check in at LGW but there is a question of luggage surrounding the overnight stay. Can you do a bag drop for one remaining bag the next day if you have checked in one bag already the night before ?

Many thanks for any help.

I think you can check in another bag on the day of your flight, but you will have to join the normal check-in queues to do so.

edit - I have just found this on the V Hols web site, which does say you can do it.

Regards

why not check in online 24 hours before and then drop all your bags up to an hour before you fly?

I am still very wary of OLCI - BA's seems to work fine but we get quite a few problems reported on this sight about the VS version. It is a possibility though as I have already "booked" seats.

Thanks for the thought

Alternatively take your overnight change of clothes hand lugage.
be creative whith what you wear. Some clothes such as jackets shoes may be worn more than one day.
Toiletries. Small tube of toothpaste and tooth brush can be put in hand luggage. Keep to minimun shampoo and soap only ( Go on girls you can do it fo one day) Decant what you nomally use into a small container ( film canister for example)and throw away or make sure you save just a little in the bottom the normal container so you can throw away. Use a diposiable razor. There's always the hotel soap.

Oooh you are creative. I have done this before but then there is the dismal hand lugguage allowance in PE. But do not get me started on that - Mr branson if you are lurking the PE allowance being the same as economy is shocking! so behind the times - catch up with your competitors!. It is not as if on the upper deck of a jumbo you have not got the space for it...

See you have got me off on that one again ....

It can be done both mine and my wife necessities in one bag to gether with camera camcorder PDA and phone under 6KG (not that they are going to weigh it. Didn't even cut my tooth brush in half like in by back packing days
