Having just bought a Nokia N70 and seen the plethora of cool themes you can put on them via your PC, I thought I'd do a Virgin one.
The main picture screen is a photo I took from a 747 heading to Vegas last year.
I think the theme is simple in design yet eye catching as the 747 starts to overtake an American Airline Airbus at 35,000ft!!

You can see it and also download it here: http://www.zedge.net/?side=themes&getlogo=51913 ( Afew pop-ups on site but nothing sinister)

It will work on Nokia 60 Series mobile/cell phones like the N70 and 6630, 6680, 6681 and 6682 etc.

Thanks,

Nokia Theme Studio is a free download from Nokia http://www.forum.nokia.com/main/0,,034-301,00.html

The programme is alittle slow and not too user friendly but hey it's free :)

Cool pic, downloaded it but now have no idea how to put it on there.

I dont use a Nokia but with my Sony Ericsson K750 I just plug my phone into my PC via USB (or use Bluetooth) and then copy the downloaded file to the correct folder on the handset.

When my phone is connected to my PC, the memory stick shows up as been a portable drive in Explorer so it's just a case of drag & drop.

The file I downloaded from the website was a .sis file, shouldn't it be a .nth file like my other themes?

If your phone is one of the above it should work. Just open PC suite and double click the downloaded sis file and it should self install to the themes folder.

Hope it helps, Im no Nokia expert, but there are plenty of forums around that will have the answer.

I just thought, if you are on Orange Network they seem to lock thier phones to have either a Nokia theme or an Orange theme (Thats progress for you!!)

I have a Sony P900 and it won't install, which I am not surprised about as it is for Nokia phones isn't it? Any change you can post the components of the theme so us without the Nokias can have a go too.

A .sis file is an installer for a Symbian handset, but a P900 has the UIQ interface and the N70 has Nokia's Series 60, on top of the Symbian operating system, so the .sis files are not cross compatible. I'd imagine it would be a lot of work to make this work on a UIQ phone.

Another way to install this would be to bluetooth/email it to the handset and install it directly on the handset. Handy if you have a Mac, and thus no PC Suite...

BTW, nice work on the theme design Matty - you're obviously a dedicated VS fan!
