Myself and a group of friends are travelling out to SFO in Aug to go to the Burning Man festival in Nevada. (Not heard of it? http://www.BurningMan.com)
As fares at that time of year are kind of prohibitive - even in the "discounted" economy booking classes - I currently have a 10 seats held with Virgin Flightstore as a group deal. (Pretty good too - saved around £120 over cheapest published econ VS fares). However, I'm now (typically) finding it hard to find people willing to travel with us - even from the group of people I'm going with to Burning Man. ::grumble grumble:: They all made excuses about something or other and went off to travel on Air France or something. (strange, I know.)
So: is there anyone here on the boards who's going to Burning Man, who would like to consider travelling with us on Virgin, outbound on the 26th Aug, inbound on the 8th Sept from LHR-SFO?
Alternatively, are there any folks who want to go to SFO at that time and would consider going on those dates anyhow?

Also - does anyone have any other ideas on how else we might go about getting more "reasonable" rates? Are there any travel agents on here who might appreciate some business, should our group booking reservation "expire" before we get the number of people to qualify for the group discount.
