Hi,

I know that the views of the current menu are controversial - however I know that the menu to and from India include curries and are therefore different (in fact I have posted before about the somewhat silly idea of serving curry in an enclosed environment [:$] ).

I was wondering however, does anyone know the current menu options as I am flying to BOM on Sunday and seem to remember that the current menu is undergoing a change.

TR will of course follow.

There does seem to be a paucity of comments on V-Flyer about VS flights to India.
(Apart from those by one notable late and NOT lamented poster that is. ;)[}:)] ).

I had always assumed that the meals out of London were pretty much the same, no matter what the route.

I hope someone can answer your question, Ongen. If not, we will await your TR with interest. [y]

Please tell us all what the menu is when you return... sounds like you will be a guinea pig for the new menu

I am out in India for a month so I will certainly be able to provide details as to the Outbound Leg quickly - however I anticipate someone else may get the return leg in before myself.

It would also seem that the flight has UCS these days! Looking forward to my first flight in one of those. Probably for the best considering I am at the London Whisky Live show on Saturday and therefore in need of some good sleep [:w]

Hopefully Ongen has looked at the seat selector for the booked flight and worked out it is UCS from that (?).

Yes, and being slightly sad I confirmed it with both my Travel Agent and then with VS when I called to deal with a number of other issues.

I realise however that the plane could change on the day. This trip has been cancelled and rescheduled by my company so much now that I take nothing as confirmed until I the plane rotates off the runway and I am brandishing a chilled glass of LP! Heres to hoping I get my first UCS experience this weekend.

In UC, there will be 2 Indian options, one of which will be veggie.
There is unlikely to be a non-Indian veggie option so if you are a veggie and dislike Indian, it means going straight to the cheese course.
