DIY check-in is not necessary for Upper Class, but for your own peace of mind, feel free to do so, and enjoy the ride to the airport!

Don't forget to book a treatment in the Clubhouse Salon...

Thanks, Juliet

Will I still be able to use the Drive Thru Check in at LGW? Is there a possibility that some-one using OLCI could take our seats?

Thanks

As long as you have the car booked through Tristar (booked through Virgin on a qualifying fare) you can use drivethru, and have them take you luggage (the best part, if you ask me....)

The only possibility of someone else getting your seats (after OLCI) is for operational reasons, or silly traffic problems to the airport and an EXTREMELY late arrival, where they may have allocated those seats elsewhere, although that is quite rare.

Of course you can use OLCI if you're Upper Class, but once you get in the Tristar car a message is sent to Drive Thru where they check you in and know exactly how many bags you have so by the time you pull up you're just handed your boarding card and your bags are tagged.
