Kids are driving me mad, is there a possibility of a built in computer console on every Virgin flight from manchester to orlando, we are flying on the 29th March. And also will it definitely be a 747??

Many Thanks

Hi Allan, and welcome [y]

It will be a 747, for sure. But as far as "computer consoles" go - unless I've misunderstood you, no. The planes have a variety of In Flight Entertainment systems - some with more videos/games etc. than others. Perhaps you could be a bit more specific as to your expectations?

Ah, in that case, this guide (from the front page) might help out a little.

Typically, the MAN aircraft have (super)Nova. Although some seem to be operating with Odyssey, of late.

Kids will have a great time.
Its a while since mine were kids, but I remember that they loved the flight, the backseat TVs with the kids channel and also the backpack with all the goodies.

Enjoy your holiday.

We find the best way is to pack a gameboy or similar hand held for the kids 'cause to be honest even when you get odyssey the games are a bit crappy

Depending on the age of the children I would definately recommend some other form of entertainment for them. The in-flight service only has one children's movie and a single children's channel so after around three and a half hours they will have seen all of the dedicated children's entertainment.
