Thanks for the update [y]

That just leaves one J2000 A343 once G-VFLY goes to Finnair in May/June.

You have to be pretty unlucky to get J2000 now!;)

Thanks for the info - fleet database & FAQ updated [y][y]

Question - have BUS & SUN changed regs, and/or are they both under this "lease arrangement"? If they're under a lease, is there any danger they'd come back into the fleet? (just trying to work out if we can remove them from the current fleet d/base and put them permanently in the "retired aircraft" section :))

Cheers

G-VBUS is definatly on wet-lease to V-Nigeria and i would assume that G-VSUN would be the same. but not 100% on the latter though

No, as jerseyboy points out the aircraft are wet-leased to VK and are operated on the VS UK AOC (Air Operators Certificate) and as such are operated to Virgin Atlantic's standards and procedures, it also means VS have to keep a very close eye on what VK are doing.

Ah ok, thanks for that - I'll leave them in the "current fleet" for now then, with the corresponding note saying they're flying with VK.

Cheers

Just for your info - a lot of the staff in Nigeria are actually from the UK, seconded over for up to a year to ensure the VN is run OK and to a high standard

Sorry to drag this back up - but it looks as if G-VFLY has started the process of leaving the VS fleet to join Finnair in June:
