Hi

I was going to buy a game for my husband to play onboard as he's a bit of a nervous flyer.

He likes the look of the new playstation portable game but we don't want to buy it and then find out we can't use it onboard, would we be ok to use this onboard?

Probably you will be able to but not during takeoff, taxi or landing.

Definitely OK to use a PSP in-flight - I do most trips now.

Just, as Bazz says, not during taxi/take-off or landing.

Think about battery life - don't know what you get out of the PSP, but you may want to get spare batteries (or an EMPower nib if you're in Upper).

Of course since the PSP is becoming almost as ubiquitous as the IPod, VS may provide chargers.

I take my PSP onto longer flight where we may get some crew rest and watch movies and play games on it... Just remember not for use during Taxi,Take Off and Landing and be sure to disable the wireless function on the Left hand side as this function alike compuiters and phones cant be used at any time.. There are some grest games Tocca racing is a good racing games .

P.S.P's are great not only for onboard flight but waiting around in departures itÕs a good diversion if feeling nervous. I always take one spare battery with me on long hall flights generally find this sufficient for my playtime needs. However if you are flying on V-A with a v-port then you may only need the one battery, as there is plenty to keep you occupied on the v-port system.

Enjoy your flight

Hi all

Thanks for the replies, good advice about the batteries as I would imagine he may use it during the holiday too.
