SRB was on BBC Breakfast this morning, and was not saying no to a fuel surcharge - although as long as oil stays at $40 a barrel, he thinks Virgin can 'survive it' - Oh, and he was on telly to promote the fact Virgin is now going to be offering Car & Home insurance at 40%-50% discount (I always wonder when they say those kind of discount, who is the poor sop that they are comparing against!)

The Virgin car insurance is underwritten by UK Insurance I believe, so the prices will be the same as Direct Line and Tesco. Hardly a 40-50% discount!

BTW, handy hint for the over 30s with fast cars -- Liverpool Victoria are consistently cheaper than UKI sites for me.
