Have just happend on your forum - Lots of useful stuff. So decided to subscribe.

Have picked up the availablity tool that was recommended elsewhere. It says W4,S7,k4 on my flight. Anyone know where the 7 is coming from - I would have thought it would be 4 like the other 2 buckets.

One other little thing while I am here - the front seats in PE are blocked on VS's booking system - I guess they allocate them on arrival. Are they worth going for (ie are they better than 19 as i have been allocated)? For info the plane will either be an A346 or an A343 (think I got that right!).

Sailor, welcome to the forums.

If I'm correct, the maximum number of seats shown for any booking class is 7. This tells you that there are still over 7 seats left for that particular fare class.

This number will then drop when the availability is below 7. If I'm wrong then I'm sure someone else will pull me up on it, or describe it better[:I]

With my last flight I called Virgin and requested the front seats and they allocated them for me. However, this has nott been the case in the past. I think it depends on the agent you get when you call.

FC Gold members can usually get bulkhead/front seats allocated on the proviso that they may need to be released for special needs passengers. If you are not FC Gold then you may have trouble, methinks.
