making do

Having several OB UC kits kicking around of various iteration, I have discovered two uses in two days (a personal first):
1. Zipper kit (the one that looks as if it should harbor a video cassette)holds our bristling raft of RTW paper tiX, safely and quite handsomely.
2. That purple OB washbag--has now volunteered itself to hold various annoying cords and bits which support Ipod video. Good for any sudden dive whilst rowing the mighty Connecticut.
Still found no use for naff cufflinks, other than trying to push them off on others, who push right back.
Query: what use do others make of the Oswald Boateng kits (well, on beyond what they may have been attended for)?

We were a bit dissappointed with the kits on our outward flights.
Both his and hers kits contained the naff cufflinks[:?].
OK I know some men may wear cufflinks on special occasions, but I've yet to see a lady wear them.
We left our kits in the hotel room, hopefully someone will find a use for them. We just couldn't be bothered to carry them all the way round Florida then back home... just to store away in the 'just in case' drawer, besides we may get another 2 sets of cufflinks on our return journey[n]

My wife used ours for exactly the same purpose on our recent trip - tickets and passports etc.

I keep mine, when I am very old and wrinkly and possible on my ownsome
they will bring back some lovely memories of my flights and holidays with my loved ones.
Memories are priceless and some things we take for granted later on in life can bring a few moments of joy.

Keep a couple for tickets and passports - for which they're ideal - and sell any spares on e-bay. Got £15 quid from a guy in Australia for the last one. Oh, and I rather like the cuff links, but then I never did have any style.

Funnily enough since getting those cufflinks I have taken to wearing
cufflinks more and now collect nice ones, I wonder if Sir R wouldn't mind popping a pair of Mont Blanc soulmaker 1906 cufflinks in one for me to match my beautiful pen[oo]

Cufflinks can be a nice touch when wearing a good shirt. But I almost exclusively wear silver cufflinks.. would be a radical step for me to wear colourful ones! They'd clash with my colourful shirts...

Not had the privilege of a OB UC kit yet, but the zipper washbag type affairs I got on KLM make very useful "keep tidies" for all the assorted power supplies and connection cables one needs to travel with these days!

I have taken to wearing my black OB cufflinks with several shirts I own. However I am yet to wear the red ones... perhaps with a white shirt.
I agree with McCoy - plain silver is the way to go

I already have a travel wallet which is designed on the same lines but far more sturdy than the OB wallet. It also has extra pockets in which to slide various confirmation pages off the internet. One of the better purchases I made [y]
