I've been meaning to post this for a while but... anyway it has just been aired again on C4 and what a scream it is! The ad shows a stewardess doing the "Tea" round and getting no takers (being bored to death) starts aking if the pax want a conversation about; global warming, childhood obesity, ...
Haven't read the Mag but what a great ad [y]

I saw it earlier, was really good. Did make me smile.
Also bought the mag last week for my train ride down to London. Its like Heat used to be when it was good with a bit more seriousness. Will probably replace Heat as my journey rag of choice.

Having Googled my a*se off for 40 minutes, I have not been able to find a link to the ad. If anyone knows who made it, please post a link so all may enjoy!

Sounds just great, Bazz. The laughs are totally VS-style -- cool, humourous and a bit of truth, too. Perhaps I'll get to see it this weekend when I am in London.
With the magazine and television ads seeming to be everywhere in the last month or so -- we've seen both here in the US -- it seems that VS is determined to significantly increase its presence in the market for biz class seats. My belief is that this is part of a larger, more global strategy as the number of cities served by VS expands.

I have seen this ad a couple of times, but to be honest I'm quite confused as to what sort of magazine it actually is. It seems to tackle important debates and news topics but the format appears to be that of a gossip magazine. I don't know if anyone remembers but Heat magazine advertised using a plane scene. I had a flick through the magazine at Tesco the other day and I'm not convinced by it. The advertisement doesn't seem to tell me who the target audience is - is it for someone who reads broadsheets or tabloids? What age bracket?
The magazine just has me completely confused.

I have walked down the A/C when doing duty free a long time ago asking if anyone wants to buy duty free, Vodka, Perfume, Washing Machines, Dishwashers. Noone listens to you.
You can also say things like 'Nice ass' if there is a glass nearby on the floor and if anyone questions it u can say you said 'Mind the glass' It works a treat.

LOL VITB, slightly OT but your line remnded me of an old friend who used to be a Butcher. I remember he referred to 'Butchers Rhyming Slang', the one that sticks in my mind was; "Do you want your ass kicked, Madam?" which when questioned, morphed into a very polite; "Do you want it in your basket, Madam?"
