Hi A380 (wondered how long it would be before someone collared that handle) - welcome to VF.

The backback basically has some books (colouring and reading) and crayons and a few other bits and pieces. I would say it is aimed at the 5-10 year old market. There was something that listed the contents a little more thoroughly and I'll try to track it down.

Thanks Phil, (for the info. and the welcome), I was amazed the A380 handle was available.

One other question if you don't mind, assuming I get the Nova IFE, what kids channels can I expect, I've read through the info on here but can't see specifics.

My kids are 6 and 3, so the back pack sounds great for them.

As it mentions there are two dedicated kids channels - This link should give you an idea of what to expect. Normally one of the films is a kids film - probably Chicken Little or Chronicles of Narnia at the moment.

There is a photo of the K-ID backpack on this page and although it does not show everything it gives you an idea - few sweets - nice cap etc.

If you have kid size headphones bring them with you as VS headphones are not designed for small heads. Alternatively bring something that you can wrap around the headphones to give a snag fit - e.g a piece of foam.

The one film and one children's channel might last you about half way to Orlando. I don't recall the backpack containing that much to keep the children interested and I'd suggest bringing a few things of your own to keep them occupied.

Thanks for the info, I'll take the gameboy and plenty of colouring books.

With any luck they'll sleep a fair part of the journey, although that's unlikely given the excitement factor:)

Hi A380

The pack is hit and miss depending on your kids mine love it but I have two boys aged 3 & 5. After many trips all over the world with my boys in the last two years the best investment anyone with kids can make is a portable DVD player. Three hours of peace and quiet... priceless.

Good luck and if you are going to disney make sure you buy one of the onine guides to the parks it will make your trip 100% more fun.

Have a great trip
