Pretty much as the subject says....

I've lost my new FC card and unfortunately chucked away the old one when the new style cafd arrived.

Called the Premier Team to order a new card (initially the guy said he wouldn't do it). When I asked if I could still get into CH and Revivals, he said that I could providing I had my FC number - I'm a bit dubious of this, can anyone confirm.

All I have got for definite is the new style luggage tags which match the style and haave the FC number and my name on them - I'm not going to try to pass one of those off as my card [V].

A new card is on order and should be with me in 6(!!!) weeks, but I leave in about 2 weeks - help!!

Cheers,

Sahajesh.

Don't worry... the computer says 'Yes' :D[8D]

They will know from your PNR that you are gold.. I am sure you won't have a problem, but why don't you just carry your latest FC statement - just in case. Even better ... the one that says you have qualified for gold. ;)

Well they have a fancy computer system that replaces the old CH sheet/report. Accord to my talks with the CH gatekeeper, it would have your name in the database. Cool system really.

Good news, thanks for that!!

If I want to be safe, I can rummage through the wheelie bin and find the old card (that I only threw out at the weekend thinking "I'm all right, I've got the new one"......

Thoughts anyone, is it worth getting all mucky???

Or, more to the point - would it be worth some unsavoury character rummaging through your bin, finding your gold card and using it instead of you! Not a huge chance of that happening, I admit, but who can tell????

Why not ring Flying Club and ask them to write to you confirming your AU status. Then take this with you - it should do the trick.

^ No need for that. mcmbenjamin is right - the computer at the host position will know you're a Gold card holder and the staff expecting you!
