Yeah I noticed this as I saw G-VFAB pull back at LHR. Not too good as you can still see where the ballon was so it looks like someone has stollen Birthday Girls ballon now!!!! The tail livery is still the same at the moment though.

EDIT: Due to my terrible spelling pointed out by Paul![:I]

I don't know, everything indicated that the livery change would be minimal, and this seems like a major change to me.

The livery on G-VFAB needs something where the balloon was to make it look complete. Maybe a Union Jack or something else?

i'm sure i heard a while back that the birthday girl livery was only a temperory one for the year. It was introduced late last april so if it was only around for the year, then could possibly be phased out around now

It was, but haven't you heard? VS is going to introduce a slight livery modification this summer.

Well, that thread doesn't exist...

But anyway, yes, I did know, but AerJohn seemed to think we were saying that the Birthday Girl livery would be applied to all aircraft.

Sorry, but no, I don't think he did. I don't know where you got that impression from but he was quite clear in his own mind that it was on one aircraft for a year nor did he think that anyone here thought otherwise and his post here would indicate that.

In any case Aer John has been around enough VS aircraft over the past twelve months to know that isn't the case

Just because your impression is different doesn't mean you have to respond in that kind of harsh manner. Even though I don't think I need to explain myself to you nor anybody else: "i'm sure i heard a while back that the birthday girl livery was only a temperory one for the year" seemed to me like AerJohn was getting confused, therefore I posted to reassure him that the birthday girl livery was only temporary.

Could we all take a deep breath for a second please and not have the thread turn into a mini flame war.

Thank You

Coo! I go to bed and wake up to find I have almost started WW3 [:0]

I didn't think I was being harsh nor did I intend to but if you felt that then I apologise [:X]
