Summer Fare reductions......except for SFO

Hi guys,

First off what a great site!! proved very useful when I flew to BOS in March.

I have noticed the drop in price on most UC routes during July and August to counter the BA price drop in club world. Does anyone know why Virgin have not mached the pricedrop on the SFO route??

I am looking to go UC to SFO at the end of August and would love to fly Virgin again but at nearly £1100 a ticket difference between them and BA i am having trouble convincing myself its worth the extra:)

Not sure on that.

I like the SFO Clubhosue and they have some really nice staff there, but at that pric differential, I'd be soon on my way to LAX instead!

Yeah, I have two trips coming up in the next few months.

I've got two LHR-BOS, one of which is already booked (and I'm now kicking myself), and one where the discounted Z fare isn't offered for some reason.

Then there's a potential SFO run at the end of August - with no cheap seats, as someone else has already observed!

Urgh! Do VS *want* me to fly with someone else?
