ISTBC but i do beleive that only new aircraft will have V:PORT installed. I think it would be a good investment for virgin to install V:PORT on G-VROS, G-VROY, G-VROM, G-VLIP and G-VGAL and then we can say goodbye to super nova, it would then add the games onto the MCO routes and get rid of nove once and for all. I cant actually think off anyone who has said positive things about it.

Does anyone else feel that when nove was upgraded virgin could have just installed V:PORT instead if they saved there pennies?

Thats 10 mil to get rid of nova without the cost of maybe having to get other a/c to cover the A/C('S)being fitted.
Although if BA release a AVOD system and they roll it out across the fleet then yes VS probibally will upgrade all A/C so they have V:Port

British Airways actually start the rollout of their new AVOD next month over 200 choices of movies programs games audio books kids zone and flight information.
so all i can say is COME ON VS GET THAT V-PORT ON ALL A/C OR BA WILL BE AHEAD OF THE GAME ON ENTERTAINMENT. And in the big picture of profits 2 million per aircraft is not that much is it ????????????????

AMEN! we all know they can afford to refit there remaining nova/oddyssey fleet if they wanted to over the forth coming years.
We cant loose out to BA when we are perfectly capable of winning and getting an all aviod fleet before they do!!

I wish I could agree but I think we all know that it looks like the bean counters [n] are in control and pulling the purse strings with aplomb. If the UC kits are being changed in order to save a few pennies then what chance of the non V-PORT planes being upgraded?

Lets just say I aint holding my breath on this one [:?]
