LGW Clubhouse

First time on UC for us - going to Jamaica in November.
Whats the lowdown on the Clubhouse - seen the info on Virgin website but is there anywhere else with a bit more detail ? Also - what time does it open as we are flying at 9.15 and want to make the most of it

There is lots of info about the LGW Clubhouse on this site. Simply us the Search function with the terms LGW and Clubhouse and your will find lots of info, including this thread from yesterday about opening hours.

You might also want to search the Virgin trip reports out of LGW, a lot of which have tips and hints for the Clubhouse. Simply use the search function in the TR section with the terms LGW and UC or Upper.

Suspect your flight is too early to let you use the Clubhouse to the full.

Think the Clubhouse opens at 7am
Might be a tad too early for the treatments - you can ring to find out what time treatments start and pre-book. You could fit in something at 8 am if they are open but as the flight as at 9:15 then be prepared to board at about 8:40 or so.

Have a good cooked breakfast with champagne is what I would recommend. No point using the showers that early to freshen before the flight unless you really want to. Surf the internet possibly but that is all you have time for I suspect.

A bit later and from LHR Beduffshirl - The LHR clubhouse is even better than LGW, although I am sure you will still really enjoy yourself there;)
