Wife and I are traveling to SFO in October flying in Upper. I heard that they have a few seats that turn down to double beds, but you have to ask for them, can anyone enlighten me or have I heard wrong. I asked when I booked and was allocated 15&16 I think, as the girl said that they are in the middle and the screen comes down so you can see your partner, but the seats stay seperate when turned down
thanks

hi
do they have these seats to book on the Manchester to Orlando flight as we are flying home UCS and would like seats like this so my daughter is near an adult, she is 5. Can you request them online or do you have to phone? we are not going until next October so how long before can we book seats?

There will be 3 adults and 1 child so we are thinking of getting two middle seats and then two seats by the window near each other.

Thank you for any help, I am new to this.

Unfortunatly they do not have these on the Manchester or Gatwick fleet. They are only avalable on the Heathrow fleet on the 747 Aircraft.

Here is a link to a picture of the Gatwick/manchester upper class cabin on a 747.

You can book your seats online with Virgin Atlantic 336 days ahead of the date of flying - but if you are doing a round trip then you need to take into account the date you are returning - you can do this here.

Its also worth checking out the seat maps section on the this site which you can find with this!

This will then help you choose your seats using the knowledge and experiences of others - then if you still are not sure please ask again in the forum.[y]

Does anyone know if the LHR 747 fleet have removal dividers in all the centre suites or only certain ones? Looked on the ratings page but not too sure...

Thanks

AFAIK, G-VFAB, G-VHOT, G-VBIG & G-VXLG all have the divider.

IIRC, there are only 5 744s at LHR, so a very good chance of getting the divider. They will be able to tell you at check-in if the plane is equipped with this.

Thanks,
Sarah

Ooh, bad news on that front I'm afraid - UCS with dividers all come with babies as standard.

So does Cosmic Girl, so that would be all 744?
