I notice on the front page news regarding the launch of the VS Amex that points earned can be redeemed against a space flight on Virgin Galactic.

I thought only miles earned flying VS could be used on a spaceflight.

Has the policy changed ?[?]

Only for this particular credit card; otherwise it's business as normal. Only miles earnt on VS metal + the Virgin Atlantic Amex Card count toward Galatic flights.
