One way limo?

An interesting one....Have just booked (via company agency) UC return to Mumbai for September. Cheapest available, so probably a D or Z. I checked the webpage prior to booking and it had the "you are entitled to a limo..." stuff on there with the quoted fare. Agent said this was not the case, but would check with Virgin. Came back with the reply that yes, the limo is available. Agent has just phoned back again and said the limo is only available for the return leg of the journey! Which is it?
Surely either the limo is on or it's not, it can't be half included can it? I'll be calling the Premier team to check out. Another example of mixed messages from VS!

It depends - if the outbound was booked in Z (lowest available) and the inbound in D (next lowest available), then you're only entitled to limos on the return section of your journey.
Limo's don't apply to Z class bookings - unfortunately, when you select "lowest available", you run the risk of being issued a Z ticket.
One (half full) way of looking at it is - "well, I got a limo on the return for the lowest available fare"... [:w]

This has happened to me once - out to MCO on a "D" and back as a "Z". Certainly made the most of the car service;);)

Is there a chance I could persuade them that I could have limos only for the UK outbound and return? I don't need airport pick-up/drop-off in Mumbai, as the hotel does this as part of the corporate booking.
I understand that if it's a Z ticket, then the limo's not in the equation for the outbound at all, but on the return I'm saving them a trip to the airport in India, "swapping" that for a short run from Sussex to LHR on the outbound. (I know, it's a long shot, but I just love the drive-thru check in bit!)

I tried to wangle just that - car transfers on the UK end - when I and a colleague had a trip to SFO ticketed as D out, Z back.
Unfortunately, I couldn't get them to budge. So I made the most of it - had transfers at both ends of the outbound flight, and enjoyed a few drinks on the plane because I didn't have to drive a rental car at the far end!
Cheers,
Mike

If you don't use the one way limo ie a z/d fare, is it just lost, or do you get any miles or anything else.
thanks

That's happening to me at the weekend - out with a D and therefore the limo from MCO to the Tampa area and back with a Z. To make it even sweeter Aer John's ticket is a Z each way. It really is the only time a D has been of benefit to me since I have frequently used the VS destination as a gateway and I have a connecting flight to and from home and am not eligible for a limo to my home airport [n] I really am looking forward to this.

As noted, if your flight has one sector that qualifies for CDC's and the other doesn't, you cannot juggle the CDC's around - they can only be used at either end of the qualifying sector.
Thanks,
Richard
