I have seen some clever sods in here actually being able to name the precise plane being used on a specific flight - call sign , type, loading, paint colour, carpet weave, inside leg measurement etc etc.
How do you do this?
Mark

Err....
a) Some of us are really sad and need to get out more.
Some of the data you get to know by flying, some of it is contained in press releases or other online media. Some of it is knowing people. Just like people say they are flying to XXX with VS, and I can instantly reply on VSxx then, and usually give them the times of their flight and the potential planes they will be travelling on.
b) Some work for VS, and can view the flight status and details on the internal systems
Thanks,
Richard
P.S. - I'm of variety A.
