Maybe to be a little more specific the folks at VS sometime ago launched a service program on certain overnight flights which provides abbreviated foodservice, ostensibly to give pax more time to sleep. The service was dubbed "Good Night Flight" but, as many of the threads on V-Flyer will demonstrate to you (just use the Search feature to locate them) GNF has not exactly been a roaring success.
