Internal Flight Change
Posted: 21 Jul 2006, 19:20Was checking our internal flight from MCO to EYW (Key West) and to see which terminal at MCO it departed from and found that the flight on Delta no longer operated - Yipes!!! Did a bit of digging and found alternatives via MIA and FLL (Fort Lauderdale).
Called VH today - UK service centre - and after 2 minutes was put through. Explained the situation to the customer services lady and she put me on hold to check things out. Came back and said yes I was right - apologised for the situation and gave me three options - fly from LHR to MIA on the way out the internal from MIA - said no to this as we are flying back from MCO and I hate MIA airport!! Option 2 to overnight in MCO - arrive at 1435 then overnight at the Hyatt - no thanks - or fly to EYW via MIA. Said I preferred the latter but could she check on flights via FLL as I prefferred the airport.
She said she would call me back.
15 mins later get a call back - all sorted - flight to FLL and then onward to EYW!! On excatly the flights I wanted .
