Need you help guys once again,

We are just sorting out our cases and are weight limits for our trip next week to BGI we are going PE and coming back UC[|)] and the essentials magazine you get says this

Luggage allowed to be checked into the hold

in E or PE you are allowed to check in two pieces of luggage into the hold not exceeding 23kg per item. in UC you are allowed to check in Three pieces of luggage into the hold not exceeding 32kg per item.

and the Virgin Atlantic web site says this

PREMIUM ECONOMY BAGGAGE ALLOWANCES BY PIECE

On Transatlantic, Caribbean and Nigerian routes we operate a piece system of allowance for checked in baggage.

Two pieces of luggage per passenger, each weighing up to 32kg (70lbs). When added together, the three dimensions of any piece of luggage must not exceed 158cm (62in).

Our we missing something here 23kg in the book 32kg on the web site[:?]

Sorry if i am repeating the subject again, i did find a topic on the subject but i cant find it now on luggage allowances [:?]

I think that the essentials magazine is wrong when it comes to PE

Have a look at this which is on the VH web site and concurs with what you have found on the VS site.

From April 1st 2006 VS reduced their 'piece system' weight to a max of 23Kg for Y pax.

Just spoken to Premier and they confirm that Y has indeed been reduced to 23Kg but PE and Upper remain at 32Kg max.

Quote from my last FC statement:

On flights to and from the US, Caribbean and Nigeria....up to a maximum weight of 32Kg when travelling in Upper Class or Premium Economy, or a maximum weight of 23Kg when travelling in Economy

hi mole :D(Ive been following your 077 topic with great interest [y]here's hoping for oddessey good luck[y]we are back on the 20th so i will let you knoe how we got on:))

This is the dilemma, same here it all comes down to the shoes.

Going to Disney is easy shorts and t shirts but Barbados different kettle of fish :)loads of clothes

Looks like we will have to get bigger cases for the kids so we can take more and spread the weight around if its 23kg

Also worth pointing out that if you were ticketed before April 1st 2006 and you are flying in Economy to the US or Caribbean, you are still entitled to 32Kg.
